Steve Dunfee, the 2019 Artist of the Year (Folk, Americana, Bluegrass) at the Josie Music Awards, and the 2017 Indie Artist Magazines Coalition Songwriter of the Year, is an independent solo artist who pens missives of relatable realities and familiar-feeling themes, blending traditional country, folk, and a splash of bluegrass into his music rooted in his Christian faith. Performing as a solo acoustic artist, Steve has developed a niche that is in popular demand and well received. In addition to the awards mentioned above, Steve is humbled to have received nominations for many other music awards over the years from various entities ranging from singer-songwriter’s associations, radio stations, music magazines, and more. Since launching his solo career in 2014, Steve has released three albums, sixteen singles, and his authentic original music and artistry have attracted loyal fans from all over the world through worldwide airplay on Internet radio stations and digital streaming services.
